The Iwata Eclipse E3 Replacement Needle I6172 restores a worn or damaged needle in compatible Eclipse airbrushes. It is made from stainless spring steel and uses an ultra-smooth taper intended to support accurate seating, consistent paint flow and the responsive spray characteristics of the E3 head system.

A bent tip or scored needle can cause spitting, an uneven pattern or paint leakage around the nozzle. Replacing it with the correct genuine part protects the fit between needle and nozzle. Importantly, I6172 is compatible only with the Iwata Eclipse HP-BS, HP-SBS and HP-CS models. It is not the correct needle for the HP-BCS.

Setup and care

Confirm the exact airbrush model before purchase. Remove and install the needle according to Iwata's instructions, handling it from the blunt end and never forcing it through the nozzle. If the old needle was damaged, inspect the nozzle as well because a bent tip may also have affected the nozzle opening.
